Dr. Nizar Haddad has served as Director, Innovations & Business Development, Fresh Del Monte and General Manager, De l’Ora Bio since July 2024.
He has more than 20 years of experience in scientific research and management and led the establishment of a unique agricultural innovation and entrepreneurship incubator in the Middle East.
Previously, Dr. Haddad was the Director General of the National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC) in Jordan where he led the transformation of the agricultural sector through innovation, digitalization, and smart solutions, including launching the pioneering e-NARC platform and initiating the groundbreaking National Seed Bank project. He is the first President of the Jordan Beekeeper’s Union.
Dr. Haddad has received 11 national and international awards. His efforts have been recognized with a prestigious medal, King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein Medal for Excellence, for NARC’s role in agricultural development and job creation.
He has also published 17 books and over 100 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Haddad has received a PhD, MSc, and BSc in Agricultural Engineering, a second Master’s in Management and Strategic Studies, and a Higher Diploma in National Resource Management.
