Mohammed Abbas has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. since January 2026. Prior to his elevation to President, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer beginning in 2022. Before that, he held senior leadership roles including Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific and Middle East Region, and other strategic operational and regional positions within the company.

Prior to that time, Mr. Abbas served as our Vice President, Middle East and North Africa from January 2016 to November 2019. From April 2015 to December 2015, he served as Vice President of Fresh Produce, for our Middle East and North Africa, (MENA) region.

Mr. Abbas served as the General Manager of Del Monte Saudi Arabia from June 2009 to March 2015. Prior to that time, he served as our General Manager of Del Monte Foods UAE since the inception of the first unit in the MENA Region in January 2007 until May 2009.

Mr. Abbas has more than 20 years of experience in leadership roles in agriculture, farming, and fresh produce industry in multinational organizations from the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.

He completed a Master of Science in Agribusiness from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from Kelly Business School at Indiana University.
