Imad Farhat

SVP, Specialty Ingredients
 

Imad Farhat has been the SVP, Specialty Ingredients at Fresh Del Monte since 2024. He joins us from dsm-firmenich where he held positions of increasing responsibility in Europe, North America, and Asia. His last role was SVP, Taste for South Asia, Middle East, and Africa and Global Head of Sugar Reduction for the company’s incubator, which propelled it to a global leadership position.   

Prior to joining Firmenich, Imad was Associate Professor of Food Physical Chemistry at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom where he authored more than 70 scientific publications in areas of food science and served on several international academic committees and editorial boards of scientific journals. He also held a Visiting Professorship at the Department of Food Science of the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
