Michael Buesink serves as Vice President of Supply Chain & Logistics for the Foods Division at Del Monte Corporation, where he leads the company’s end-to-end supply chain organization. In this role, he oversees Procurement, External Manufacturing, Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Research & Development and the Pittsburgh-based Foods Division operational hub. He is responsible for driving operational excellence, innovation, and strategic execution across the business.
With extensive leadership experience in the food and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, Michael brings a unique ability to connect business strategy with operational execution. During more than a decade with Del Monte, he has held multiple leadership roles across both Supply Chain and Commercial organizations, developing broad expertise in demand planning, sourcing, transportation, warehousing, analytics, customer strategy, project management, and leadership development.
Throughout his career, Michael has led transformative initiatives that have strengthened organizational capabilities and delivered measurable business results. He has redesigned critical business processes, including Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and sourcing strategies, while also leading a major network optimization effort that improved customer service levels and generated significant cost savings.
Based in the Pittsburgh region, Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from The Pennsylvania State University, as well as a Food Industry Management Certificate from the University of Southern California.
