Based in Chile

Mr. Zamora has served as our General Manager of Chile since 2024. Previously, he was Director of Sourcing and Procurement for South America since January 2022. He is responsible for third-party sourcing of fruit in Chile and South America. From 2018 until 2022 he served as Growers Manager in our central office in Santiago, Chile and was responsible for contracting and managing fruit from third-party growers of Chile.  From 2006 until 2018 he served as Zonal Manager of the San Felipe Zone in the central area of Chile.

Previously, he served in the Northern Zone, in the Copiapó Valley, as Deputy Zonal Manager, the General Administrator of our UAC Farms, and agronomist and operational chief from 2000 until 2002. Before that, he worked as a quality control inspector in grower’s packing houses and agronomist assistant in San Felipe and Cerrillos Zone.

He brings more than 20 years of experience in different areas, including the operation of farms, packinghouses and cold storage facilities, food safety, quality assurance, and technical and business management for Growers and exporters.

He graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso as an Agronomist Engineer.
